Hair Bands

Just finished coffee with my good friend Shimmy. Always good to catch up with him.

We spent quite a bit of time as usual talking hair bands. Don't laugh, you know deep down you love the songs.

One thing I've noticed is how many people don't know these bands are still around, or putting out good records. Check out the new ones from Whitesnake, as well as Loverboy (not a hair band, but a really good rock band). Also on tour this summer, the reformed Warrant (original lineup) with Cinderella and Lynch Mob. My amazing wife and I are going to see the tour in TX.

To me, the music and bands take us to happy times. The songs are hooky, songs you can raise your fists in the air and sing along at the top of your lungs.

First Day

After reading everyone and their brother's blogs, I thought that it might be time for me to try one. Not that I expect anyone to read it, but more so to try and be a little more creative and focused. Almost like doing a diary to look back on, but not having to write!
